Privacy & Cookies Policy

Welcome! If you’re reading this, you probably have a couple of questions:
  • Are my details safe with Growth Engineering?
  • What will they do with my data?
  • How can I find out what Growth Engineering know about me?

If you don’t have time to read the entire document, we just want you to know that we’re committed to keeping your private information private. Whether you’re a visitor to our website, one of our clients, or anything in between, you can rest assured that your information is safe with us!

Cookies

Cookies are delicious baked treats, but that’s not what we’re talking about here. At the time of writing, 49.9% of all websites (including YouTube, Amazon, Twitter and of course, Growth Engineering) use cookies. When you visit these websites, a small piece of code is added to your device.

That code analyses the way you use the website (for example, which pages you visit and for how long). This data is completely anonymous and it won’t tell us who you are or what your favourite breakfast cereal is. What we can do however, is see which pages are popular, which pages are broken and how easily our users find what they’re looking for.

In short, cookies simply help us, your friends at Growth Engineering, create the best possible experience for you and anyone else visiting our website.

I still don’t like them. How do I switch them off?

If you’re still not convinced about cookies, you can find out more about them and how to disable them at allaboutcookies.org.

DATA

Are my details safe with Growth Engineering?

Anything you share with Growth Engineering is between you and us. We will not give, sell, rent or lease any of your personally identifiable information to any other company whether you share this with us through an email or an online form. Although we use a third-party service to process this data, it remains under our control at all times.

We will only share the details you provide online with other members of the Growth Engineering team (Marketing and Sales, for example). We’ll only ever use these details to let you know about our services and share content we’ve created that we think you might like, unless we have your express permission to use the information for other purposes, or are required to disclose the information by law.

What Will Growth Engineering Do with My Data?

Since we provide a wide range of custom online applications, your data helps our sales team recommend the best solution for your needs.

If you’re not actively looking for solutions, our marketing team can use your data to make sure all our communications are relevant to you. Generally speaking, we will send an email to everyone in our mailing list every Wednesday (offering anything from a new white paper to a product demo), and a list of our most popular blog content at the end of each month.

If you sign up for a demo of one of our products, we’ll use your information to guide you along the process (for example, to send you login details or password reminders).

We refresh our mailing list every 12 months and your details will be removed from our system if there has been no activity in that period. At any time, you can opt out from receiving such information from us by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email, or by contacting us at compliance@growthengineering.co.uk.

How can I find out what Growth Engineering know about me?

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access the personal information that we have registered about you. You have a right to request that the information is corrected or deleted if the information is inaccurate, incomplete or irrelevant. If you have any questions, issues or concerns regarding the way we use your data, please email us at compliance@growthengineering.co.uk.

We will update this data privacy policy document if we ever make any changes, and you can find the link at the bottom of our home page should you need to refer to our privacy policy again.
