Simon Blackburn — Sales Director

As Sales Dir­ector of a £80M IT Reseller of hard­ware and solu­tions into Pub­lic Sec­tor mar­kets, prior to join­ing GE, Simon led a 60-strong sales team and delivered sig­ni­fic­ant growth. And while workign as MD/Sales and Mar­ket­ing Dir­ector of a £50M Ima­ging Dis­trib­utor and Reseller, he delivered a suc­cess­ful change programme.

Simon’s chal­lenge at GE was to move the busi­ness from its tra­di­tional chan­nels to deliver sig­ni­fic­ant growth in evolving mar­kets, includ­ing the gro­cery non-food sec­tor, dot­coms and dir­ect B2B. His hands-on, dir­ect exper­i­ence makes sure the Growth Engin­eer­ing product port­fo­lio is developed in line with what sales func­tions in organ­isa­tions need, and can bene­fit from.
