E Learning Boosts Staff Training Retention
Recent studies highlight the importance of companies adopting a blended learning approach to training, with teaching aligned to real-world performance. Find out how businesses can create effective staff training solutions using e learning.
Research by sales training experts Huthwaite has found that 87% of learning from a simple classroom workshop was lost within 30 days, however, if the learning was supported by retrieval practice and assessments learners showed more than 100% improvement in performance.
As these figures show businesses can no longer afford to simply offer classroom training in the belief that their staff are fully trained, as a month later all training is forgotten. A far better option is to incorporate eLearning as part of a wider, blended learning solution.
