Struggling Firms Should Consider e Learning Companies
Business confidence has worsened over 2010’s second quarter with 67% of small firms operating below capacity. Discover how e learning companies can help support private sector growth.
The manufacturing sector was found to be faring better than service sector firms, according to the latest survey by the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB). Somewhat surprisingly, the South East has been hit the hardest with two thirds of small firms working below capacity.
"The consensus view from small firms is that the recovery is far from secure and there are significant risks to business growth in the future,” said John Walker, FSB National Chairman.
"With 600,000 public sector jobs expected to be lost, stimulating private sector job creation, especially in small firms, will be vital to rebalancing the economy."
A recent report, Making Britain the Place to Work, the Confederation of Business Industry (CBI), highlighted the importance of the UK's flexible labour market as a key role in minimising job losses during the recession.
