Web Based Training Key to Engagement

A recent US survey into employee attitudes shows how important training and engagement is to individuals. Find out how important e learning services can be for your business, too.

The Cornerstone On Demand “Employee Attitude” Survey, of 584 working Americans found that 68 percent have not received useful feedback from supervisors, 82 percent have not established their career goals and, perhaps most worryingly, 53 percent do not even have a clear understanding of how their position at work contributes to the company. The survey also found that 33 percent would like proper training for new duties and responsibilities.

“Managers need to be informed, involved and engaged,” says Charles Jennings, former chief learning officer for Thomson Reuters, who believes that in order to create successful company with ‘engaged’ staff learning depends on “managers' alignment and involvement with learning activity, and their eagerness to “amplify the learning experience back in the workplace.”

Web Based Product Knowledge Training at Work

Research from the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) confirmed recently that demand for highly skilled employees will increase in the coming months as the economy improves, but the majority of employers fear they will not be able to find people with the skills they need to fill the demand for high-level jobs.

Companies are increasingly coming to recognise the need to offer ongoing staff training, product knowledge training and online sales training via elearning services and channel academies.

LMS or Learning Management Academy training supports your staff training needs in a cost effective way and new rapid authoring technology makes it possible to easily add quizzes, learning games and tests into a course. These reinforce learning but also make online assessments and accreditation possible, too, so businesses can easily quantify the return on investment that elearning services provide.

Creating and delivering eLearning is an extremely effective way of providing targeted, powerful training in the most cost efficient way for your staff. Find Out more about elearning services with Growth Engineering. Telephone: 01753 840 331, Email: info@growthengineering.co.uk
