Research carried out in April 2009 by the Krauthammer Observatory revealed that only 41% of employees were highly committed to remaining in their organisation over the next twelve months.

In the IT industry job satisfaction surveys show that as many as 80% of IT professionals worldwide consider increasing their skills as vital to how long they plan to stay in their job.
