Organisations Must Embrace eLearning Academy Training
‘Learn while you work or become obsolete,' that is the message from Jay Cross, a Harvard MBA learning expert from the US who is speaking in London in June.
“Organisations have to move from the boot camp techniques they used to train soldiers for World War Two, towards integrating learning into their organisations, he says, ahead of his speech at the Learning and Skills Group Conference in London on 8th June.
“The smart ones already are; the infrastructure for learning has to change. Classroom training is not enough. It's not even close.”
Companies are increasingly coming to recognise the need to offer ongoing staff training, product knowledge training and online sales training via elearning services and channel academies. LMS or Learning Management Academy training supports your staff training needs in a cost effective way. Even highly interactive elearning courses are generally only 25-40% of the cost of the same classroom course, with research showing that organisations spending £40,000 within the first year on channel academy training will see a return on investment of £120,000 - £180,000.
New rapid authoring technology makes it possible to easily add quizzes, learning games and tests into a course. These reinforce learning but also make online assessments and accreditation possible, too, so businesses can easily quantify the return on investment that elearning services provide.
Creating and delivering eLearning is an extremely effective way of providing targeted, powerful training in the most cost efficient way for your staff. Find Out more about elearning services with Growth Engineering. Telephone: 01753 840 331, Email: info@growthengineering.co.uk
