Importance of Channel Academy Training Revealed
Companies are continuing to see the value of elearning and channel academy training, as new figures reveal the increasing importance of elearning services to business.
The UK e-learning market 2009 report found that the UK e-learning industry was worth between £300m and £450m in 2009, with growth of between 6.7% and 8% forecast in the coming year.
Companies have come to recognise the need to offer continual staff training, product knowledge training and online sales training via elearning services and channel academies because it is affordable and, crucially, is quantifiable.
Research has shown that typically an organisation spending £40,000 within the first year on channel academy training will see a return on investment of £120,000 - £180,000. With results such as this it is easy to see how businesses are increasingly confident about investing in major elearning services.
But thanks to new technology, elearning itself has improved in recent years, too. Thanks to new elearning technologies, the days of dull ‘death by Powerpoint’ staff training is now a thing of the past, with many elearning modules designed to take course-takers out of ‘passive’ mode to interact with training. Current eLearning technology makes it possible to easily add quizzes, learning games and tests into a course. These reinforce learning but also make online assessments and accreditation possible, too, so businesses can easily quantify the return on investment that elearning services provide.
Creating and delivering eLearning is an extremely effective way of providing targeted, powerful training in the most cost efficient way for your staff. Find Out more about elearning services with Growth Engineering. Telephone: 01753 840 331, Email: info@growthengineering.co.uk
