The vast majority questioned in a survey undertaken by TechRepublic and Global Knowledge, found that the majority of IT professionals want to learn new skills in order to move up the career ladder.
Interestingly, skills acquisition even rated above a work-life balance and job security for highly ambitious younger workers.
