Channel Sales eLearning Services Vital to Business Recovery
As the UK tentatively begins to recover from the worst recession in a generation, channel elearning training looks set to play a vital role in business recovery.
As the economy begins to recover over the coming months it is only natural for businesses to look towards the future, but Britain’s employers are being urged to “grow their own” after research undertaken at Cranfield School of Management discovered that investing in training not only saves money but is more effective than shopping around for talent.
The report, Nurturing Talent, was the first to compare the impact of recruiting externally with that of developing employees. Three quarters of the 1,189 companies involved in the study felt that training their own staff was more beneficial to their business than recruiting people from outside.
Half the companies discovered that training staff made them more likely to stay. One-third found it increased staff motivation, and almost half actually saved money in the process.
As all companies know, hiring and training new staff can be an expensive process with recent studies showing that companies spend as much as £5,000 recruiting the average employee, with the costs increasing significantly depending on how senior the position is.
Cost Effective eLearning Online Sales Training
The demand for eLearning services as a medium for online sales training is growing strongly as the business world looks for affordable ways to meet the challenges of a new economic world.
Many companies have realised that elearning services and tools such as channel academy learning management systems can bring about a real benefit to their business. Academy training not only supports staff training needs in a cost effective way via affordable product knowledge training and online assessment, but it also acts as a resource for knowledge sharing within a business, too.
An effective LMS Training Academy will not only help reduce your overall training costs, but it will also help your organisation increase profitability too - typically an organisation spending £40,000 within the first year will see a return on investment of £120,000 - £180,000.
