Juliette Denny, Managing Director

Juliette's career has been spent in sales and sales management - building and growing businesses both in the USA and Europe, including taking an internet company from start-up to NASDAQ IPO Fairmarket, growing multimedia sales for Kingfisher multimedia division from £2m turnover to £126 million turnover, and starting her own software distribution company at 25. Juliette holds a BA Hons in Marketing from Manchester Metropolitan University, a post-grad certificate in Operations and Finance from Harvard University and is currently finishing her masters thesis for a MA in Government also from Harvard University. Juliette formed Growth Engineering in 2003 and since then has worked closely with business principals and sales leaders in many different companies.

Simon Blackburn, Sales Director

Simon has extensive experience of sales strategy, operations and leadership in various vertical markets. His career history includes: Sales Director of a £80M IT Reseller of hardware and solutions into Public Sector markets. He led a 60-strong sales team and delivered significant growth. MD/Sales and Marketing Director of £50M Imaging Distributor and Reseller. He delivered a successful change programme moving the business from it's traditional channels and delivering significant growth in evolving markets including the Grocery non-food sector, Dotcoms and direct B2B. This hands-on, direct experience ensures that the Growth Engineering product portfolio is developed in line with what the sales functions in organisations need and can benefit from.

James Middleton, Technical Director

Responsible for the design, development and management of SDZ. An experienced web-designer and developer since 2001 and 1996 within the New Media sector, James is an expert in web optimization and usability and is a guest lecturer at Coventry University.

 

 

 

Bruce Graham, eLearning and Content

Bruce is our resident eLearning expert. He has a wide range of experience in large, medium and small businesses, and has designed, authored and deployed 2500+ eLearning modules, tests and quizzes for sales, sales support, marketing, Induction Programmes, Product Introductions and Soft Skills. Bruce has worked in a variety of Sales Operations and Training roles - including Head of Global Sales Development and Training at Amdocs, and Senior Education Services Consultant responsible for Staff and Partner eLearning (EMEA) at Oracle Corporation UK Ltd.


Patrick West, eLearning Manager

Patrick manages our eLearning production.  Since 2003, Patrick has worked in a variety of training roles, covering both operations and sales.  These have included induction training, upskilling of employees and corrective training.  Patrick's most recent experience prior to joining Growth Engineering was training with a global, solutions-based sales team, concentrating on the EMEA region for Dell Corporation, a Fortune 500 technology company.  This included work on skills training, product training and systems & process training, and the development of eLearning materials for a global library.  Patrick is currently studying for a BA Honours degree with The Open University.

 

Trish Cosgrove, Account Director (UK)

Trish’s career has been in sales and sales management, with a wide range of Revenue generating, practical, strategic, indirect and direct sales experience. She holds a B.Comm Hons in Economics from the University of Natal in South Africa. Trish’s experience was gained whilst working for leading Application Software Vendors Tetra (now Sage), Oracle and Baan and two key Channel Solutions Providers, with a focus on high value solution sales including healthy measures of service revenue and always mindful of selling profitable business. Since 2002 she has been freelance and has delivered a number of successful projects which include UK starts for a European e-Commerce Software Company and an American Digital Imaging Software Company, delivering a Sales methodology/tools and Partner Strategy for City Finance Consultancy; Channel Strategy and implementation for niche Supply Chain SW Co; Worldwide Partner selection for SW Tools Company and Strategic Client Engagement workshops for FTSE 100 company

 

Emmanuel Kuehn, Account Director (Europe)

Emmanuel is a true European citizen with fluency in French, Dutch, English and Spanish. He qualified in Business Studies in France and started his career in Sales & Marketing. He moved to The Netherlands in 1992 working for McCain, a multinational in the food sector. He has held various management positions from Area Sales Manager, International Sales Manager to Sales Director Europe and has experience with various major companies located in Canada, Japan, Australia and Europe. Emmanuel’s speciality is the building of a market from a blank canvas, using his skills and expertise to build a complete distribution channel in order to achieve the company’s goals. He has successfully launched new products and concepts across the world. One of his major achievements has been to start from scratch a European office for an Australian company and growing it into multi millions business within a few years. Emmanuel joined Growth Engineering’s team, bringing his international rucksack combined with his expertise across Sales & Marketing Management, Management Consulting and Training in order to build-up new markets across Europe.

 

Rob Sutcliffe, Web Designer

Rob is responsible for the look and feel of the elearning academies and all the corporate Growth Engineering material including this website. Rob qualified in Graphic Communications in 2004 and has specialised in the Web over the last six years, recently working more specifically in the online education industry designing and building sites for public schools and now elearning academies.
